I am very active with several organizations that provide services to families and children.  I have served as President and/or Chair of the Boards of these organizations and am currently the Chair of the newly formed Central Pennsylvania Advisory Committee for Pressley Ridge.  In this capacity I have and will be involved in fund-raising and development events such as golf tournaments, comedy and magic shows, festive galas and capital campaigns.  All of these efforts result in funds used for services to  prevent child abuse and mental health services for families and children in Central Pennsylvania.  I also serve as a volunteer for the United Way.  I encourage all to get involved with such organizations!  The rewards are unlimited. 

I also served as Past President of the Board and am a current member of the Susquehanna Ski Club.  Lots of fun with this group!

Over 25 years of public service with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Departments of Public Welfare and Aging with more than 20 years in supervisory and management positions.  Also, more than 10 years in management positions in the healthcare industry.  

I live along the beautiful Conodoguinet Creek in Camp Hill in Cumberland County, but previously lived in Susquehanna Township in Dauphin County for 15 years.  Having lived on both sides of the Susquehanna River, I am familiar with the communities and amenities on both the East and West Shore.     

I love to ski, bike, golf, play volleyball, travel and spend time with my large family which consists of my mother, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, 1 son, 1 grandson, 14 nephews and 1 niece, 2 grandnephews and 1 grandniece.  Most of us live within a 20 mile radius of Camp Hill,  which makes it quite easy to gather for good times at the drop of a hat!  We find many reasons to celebrate - including one nephew's recent safe return from a second tour in Iraq and honorable discharge from the Army.  One annual event is s 'Grill Off' when the male members of the family compete for the coveted trophy and distinguished honor of being crowned 'Best All-Around' grill chef.  Family events, even weddings, usually include singing of 'God Bless America', and yes, we do know all of the words.

My travels have taken me to many areas of the USA, Europe and even to the other side of the world - New Zealand, Australia and Fiji  - where you see different constellations in the sky and the water does flush counter-clock-wise!  But, no matter where I travel...it is always good to come home.
