Bob Leighton President and COO Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

Bob Leighton was named president and chief operating officer of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA in late October 2006. Since March 2006, he served as general sales manager for Jack Gaughen, working directly with the sales managers of the 15 office company.

Previously Leighton was executive vice president of NRT’s Central New England Company from September 2002. He was responsible for the Southeastern Massachusetts region, which encompassed 23 sales offices with approximately 900 sales associates.

Prior to joining NRT, Leighton spent four years with the DeWolfe Company as vice president of operations for Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. In this capacity, he reported directly to the president, and was responsible for the operations oversight of 34 offices.

Leighton entered the real estate business in 1979, joining Leighton Realty, Inc., a firm established by his parents in 1969. From 1984 to 1999, he managed their multi-office company, which was perennially one of the top brokerage operations in Eastern Connecticut. Leighton became a minority shareholder of this firm in the mid 1980’s, acquiring the remaining interest in 1991. On February 1, 1999, Leighton’s brokerage operation was acquired by The DeWolfe Companies, Inc.

Leighton received his B.S. in Real Estate and Urban Economics from the University of Connecticut. He resides in Carlisle with his wife and they have two daughters.

Karen Stone Executive Vice President Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

Since 1972, Karen Stone has been dedicated to serving the needs of the sales professionals, employees and clients of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA. As Executive Vice President, Stone is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA’s 15 field offices located throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Stone supports the managers, sales professionals and employees in various capacities including legal, human resources and company communications.

A strong advocate for animals, both Stone and her husband support HOKAFI, PAWS and the rehabilitation of birds of prey through fundraising and educational program presentations. Stone lives in York County with her husband.

Greg Pearsall Chief Financial Officer Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

Greg Pearsall became a member of the Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA family in 1999 as the Chief Financial Officer. Pearsall is responsible for the overall financial operations of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA including budget preparation and administration, financial planning and analysis, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Pearsall also serves as the financial point of contact for Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA’s 15 branch offices and for NRT, Inc.

Prior to joining Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA, Pearsall was a manager and consultant for SAIC. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a 24 year Navy veteran. Pearsall has three children and resides with his wife in Mechanicsburg.

Cheryl Slothower, CSP Director of Training Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

Cheryl Slothower began her real estate career with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA in 2001 and was named the Director of Training in 2004. Slothower supervises the career development program for all new and experienced sales professional of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA. This program focuses on the fundamentals of developing and practicing real estate and assisting Jack Gaughen’s sales professionals to reach their full potential throughout their real estate career.

Slothower currently holds an active real estate license in the state of Pennsylvania. She has earned her AccelERAtion awards certificate, CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designation and her ERA Historic Property Program certification. Slothower is a current member of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors, The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Slothower graduated from East Carolina University and currently resides in Boiling Springs with her husband. She supports the Humane Society, the American Diabetes Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Richard Tucker Director of Marketing Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

As Director of Marketing, Tucker is responsible for overall activities of the Marketing Department and Internet business opportunities for Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA.

Tucker’s previous real estate experience includes serving as Vice President for Prudential Fox & Roach, Philadelphia and Vice President of Commonwealth Insurance, Philadelphia. Additionally, he also served as Director for CIGNA Insurance, Philadelphia and UNYSIS, Philadelphia.

A graduate of St. Augustine College, Tucker maintains CRP and GRI certifications. He is currently a member of both the Society for Human Resource Management and Employee Relocation Council.

Rose A. Walthius Director of Recruiting Jack Gaughen Realtor® ERA®

Rose A. Walthius joined Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA as the Director of Recruiting in May 2006. Walthius coordination of the recruiting program includes working closely with the sales managers to identify and qualify potential sales professionals for Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA. Walthius also oversees the entire matriculation process for new sales associates joining the firm.

Walthius holds her Pennsylvania real estate license and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors.

Walthius and her husband are residents of the Hershey-Hummelstown area and they have one son.
